Although I’ve seen examples of this, I believe it’s a change in the mind that’s needed not a change in the sport. With the right mindset we can use climbing as a means to train the mind to be less reactive and we can learn lessons from hurdles we’ve overcome in climbing and apply them to the rest of our lives.
