👋🏽Lets talk about weight loss you everyone. For a lot of people weight gain happened over years, right? It literally took years to put weight on or you have gained it and lost it and that cycle has gone on for a while. Some of you are postpartum and forget it took 9 months to put that weight on and may take 9 months to get it off. For some of us we have experienced a trauma of some kind and turned to food for comfort. We eat our feelings rather than dealing with them. Because most weight gain happens over time we tend to not even realize that mentally we’re now wired to talk ourselves out of losing it. We get so used to our normal routine and mindset that we find change to be difficult or fail to remember it’s a transition. The best way to go about it is to focus on small goals. Focus on the 24 hours in front of you and getting through that successfully. A big tip I have is, be part of a support group within your transformation journey. Sharing your decision to do something different or new with friends and family will most likely invite negative opinions and derail you. I hate when people around you try and talk you out of being healthy and finding what works for you. Be around supportive people who celebrate your daily goals with you! What would your life be like if you just took the chance and said “Today I am going to make the changes to get to where I need to be, I’ll have breakfast daily, Ill take the stairs, and Ill reach out for help. It’s time for you to jump in and make it happen! We are all born AMAZING no one is better than the next, we all get 24 hours in a day you just have to pull yourself up and BELIEVE you can do it, reach your potential!
