Cannonball used this alto sax to bring countless pieces of music to life. Influenced by the likes of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and Charlie Parker, Cannonball's music echoed and celebrated attitudes about Black pride and self-love that were in constant motion throughout the 1960s and 1970s.
