The original significance and meaning of Boxing Day had been lost in the mists of time, probably, but we think we may have rediscovered it. Due to them being relatively expensive, many fans choose to have a Bowie box set as their main gift on Christmas Day. However, due to Yuletide social norms, it is considered unsociable to investigate the delights of box sets till the day after Christmas, thus the creation of Boxing Day. There have been many Bowie box sets produced across the years, the first being the French RCA triple album set of the Berlin Trilogy, presented as the pretty basic Portrait Of A Star in 1982. Things have come on considerably since then, with the Station To Station Deluxe set shown here, being among the more popular.
