庄司夏子さんのインスタグラム写真 - (庄司夏子Instagram)「大変光栄なことに、創刊10周年を迎えた雑誌『Harper's BAZAAR』とジュエリーブランドTiffany & Co. よりさまざまな分野の最前線を走る女性たちを讃える賞である『WOMEN on the FRONTIER（ウィメンオンザフロンティア）』を授賞いたしました。 10周年を記念したパーティ及び授賞式は昨日10月18日,国立新美術館で行われました。私を含め5名の授賞者が選ばれ、日本を代表するラッパーのAwichさんをはじめ、アジア女子テニス選手のなかで最高位となる世界ランキング4位テニスプレイヤーの伊達公子さん、アーティストの長谷川幾与さん、長谷川ミラさんです。授賞の際の壇上で、”料理の世界にとどまらず活動、創作のモチベーションは、どんなところから生まれますか？”ときいていただきました。料理の世界もアートと同じであり、食べるアート、マスターピースを我々料理人はクリエイションしていると思っています。今その担い手が不足しているので垣根を超えた活動で生産者さんや我々職人、美しい食の未来を救いたいのがわたしのモチベーションです。またこの壇上に上がれたのは支えてくれたスタッフ、それぞれのご両親、家族、お客様、いろいろなイベントを支えてくださる関係者の方々のおかげでありわたしはみんなの代表でトロフィーを受け取りました。皆様、本当にありがとうございます。引き続き精進してまいります。 Such a honor to be the WOMEN on the FRONTIER Awards Presented by @harpersbazaarus @harpersbazaarjapan , sponsored by @tiffanyandco The award ceremony is organized by Harper's Bazaar, an American fashion magazine, to honor women who are at the forefront of various fields and to share their appeal with the world. The 10th anniversary party and award ceremony was held yesterday, October 18, at the National Art Center, Tokyo in Minato-ku, Tokyo. Five winners were selected for the awards:Awich @awich098, a leading Japanese rapper; @kimiko.date , the world's fourth-ranked tennis player, the highest-ranked Asian female tennis player; Ikuyo Hasegawa, an artist; and Mira Hasegawa, an artist. The moderator asked me on the stage, "What motivates you to be active and creative beyond the culinary world?” I believe that the culinary world is the same as art, and that we chefs are creating masterpieces, the art of eating. There is a shortage of people to carry on this work, so my motivation is to save the producers, our craftsmen, and the future of beautiful food through activities that transcend boundaries. I am also grateful to the staff, our parents, family , our customers, and all the people who support every event, and I deserved this trophy on behalf of all of them.
