Have you ever wondered what your memories actually look like? Turns out, they look something like this. 🤯 This gorgeous artwork — entitled "Melting Memories" — uses artificial intelligence to virtually map brain signals from actual EEG tests, visualizing the exact moment we remember something. Artist @RefikAnadol uses data points as his paint and huge architectural spaces as his canvases to create beautiful art that challenges us to think about the amazing possibilities of AI-human collaboration. "If machines can learn or process memories, can they also dream? Hallucinate?" he asks in his talk. "It is in our hands, humans, to train [artificial intelligence] to learn and remember what we can only dream of." To see more of his ethereal art, including a data cloud of every single TED Talk from the past 30 years (that's 7.4 million seconds!) visit the link in our bio.
