What the heck is a yarn bomb? 🧶 You’re looking at one! This is the work of textile artist Magda Sayeg (@magdasayeg) — she transforms urban landscapes into her own playground by decorating everyday objects with colorful knit and crochet. Initially, her warm and fuzzy installations started small, decorating stop-sign poles and fire hydrants in her hometown, but they quickly grew into a worldwide phenomenon and she wrapped big objects like buses! "We all live in this fast-paced, digital world," she says in her TED Talk. "But we still crave and desire something that's relatable." Visit the link in our bio to see more yarn bombs — and learn how you can use art to connect to the world around you.
