Slovenia, I’m so happy to be back in your beautiful mountains! 🇸🇮😍
There’s very few places that I return to so soon, but this country took a little piece of my heart last year! I wanted to bring my parents and show them all my favourite spots 🥰 I’m ridiculously excited to have a proper family holiday for the first time in years! We are kick starting with 3 days in Slovenia and then heading off on a two week road trip through Croatia and Montenegro 🇲🇪🇭🇷
Please do let me know if you have any recommendations in the comments below! 🥰
I’m sharing our adventures on my stories so come watch what we get up to! 🌎💙 #ifeelslovenia @feelslovenia #beautifulslovenia #slovenia #sloveniatravel #exploremore #mountaingirl #thegreatoutdoors #girloutdoors #getoutside #julianalps #mountainscape

Croatia is beautiful for nature. We work on a sailing boat here and love exploring. All the national parks are amazing. Plivitze that people have said is stunning, so is Krka if you go higher into the park to the Roski Slap waterfalls not the first bit. It is the highest point of the season now so places are very busy. For something different I would go to Vis Island. More history than anywhere I have ever been. We have the most fabulous tour guide who can take you round in an Austrian military truck from the Yugoslavia days. Or miljet national park island - beautiful lakes to cycle or hike and a wonderful resteraunt in the middle of one of the lakes as a reward! Enjoy. It really is a phenomenal country.

Sllovenia - Lake Bled, Croatia- Dubrovnik , Cavtat & Mlini. Go on a day boat trip to visit 5 islands then in the evening take another boat trip ( old pirate ship) to watch the sunset in the middle of the sea. Magical. Montenegro - HercegNovi , boat trip to Dobrec( must see) , Kotorr, Budva, Skadar Lake, Ulcinj where you can go & see Ada Bojana. @zannavandijk please don't forget to check out Albania🇦🇱, the Land of Eagles. First town Shkodra is boarded with Montenegro. It has one of the oldest castles in Europe, Rozafa Castle with a gobsmacking history & biggest lake in the Balkans, Shkodra (Skadar) Lake. Then it's the Albanian Alps. Enjoy 💜

We went through Slovenia on the 🚂, we deffo want to go back to explore. Get on the north of Hvar for some amazing hikes and to discover countless coves. Bol On Brac completely surpassed our expectations and again is fantastic for hiking and even better for biking. And in Split, make sure you head for Marta’s Veggie Fusion - vegan street food. You’ll love it and it’s in the heart of the old town. And don’t rule Zagreb out. I could have done a few more nights here, the energy there was fantastic as was the architecture . With love from Yorkshire 😘😘😘

Kotor in Montenegro is lovely! So so scenic. You can hike the city walls up to the castle to see amazing views at the top. We also went on a kayaking trip around Dubrovnik which was so beautiful too! Don't be too put off by Budva, as seen in some earlier comments. My first thoughts when I went were not great, however after some exploring, there are some lovely little restaurants and bars hidden around the old town 😊

If you pass through Budva, there is a beautiful coastal walk called the Seven Bay Trail that goes from Budva to Sveti Stefan. It is 7km (14km return) and flat and you can dip in the ocean at the beaches along the way :)
