I always hit lower body differently I hold weight in my lower body and I have a saddle bad area that retains water. I fight cellulite on the back of my thighs from my butt to my mid thigh. So I train with plyometrics to slim the thighs but I incorporate wights to tone and tighten and at the same time I focus on glute projection.

This was part of my workout 🏋🏽‍♀️ today. 🔥 Step jumps I did 2 levels I went till I exhausted and then took a 60 second break to catch my breath. I did 4 sets total. I start here before heavy weights to tire out big muscles. Once you exhaust the big muscles the smaller ones will engage when lifting heavy.

🔥 Squats - this is a variation move it gets me out of the smith machine but also takes pressure off my back. I also incorporate upper body with the extra move when I lift the bar over my head. You don’t have to do that. I go for 12 to 15 and four sets. A common misconception is that squats are for glutes. Squats actually engage your whole lower body but your quads take the majority of the work. The glutes, hamstrings and back are all secondary muscles. But think about this you need to work your whole lower body or as you lift heavier you will end up getting injured. I hate when people spot train 🤦🏽‍♀️ work your whole body all body parts!

🔥 Reverse hyper frog hyperextension- for this i did an advanced move by adding leg weights. You can also use bands. The key is to hold your heels together while squeezing together. I should have been lower on the bench I realized that after watching the video so please modify.
