Hello! My name is Margaret Salazar-Porzio and I'm a curator of Latinx history and culture at the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History. Since I started this job five years ago, I have been searching for artifacts that help us tell Latinx stories. From Los Angeles to New York City, and many cities and small towns in between, I've had the pleasure of meeting fans of history and the honor of collecting objects of significance for the American people.
