I was born and raised in Corpus Christi, TX it’s a beach city. I remember the whole city came to life if the summer. We had back to back festivals by the ocean and the beaches were always packed. I loved the drive to Padre Island when it was legal to pack 7 kids under 10 in the back of a pick up ?. We would take 5 cars and trucks ? full of bbq, beach toys and adult supplies ? The time leading up to summer was exciting. I now live in LA where it’s hot most of the time but I still love summer so much!
