今日の和菓子：Wish to stars ✨ 「一年(ひととせ)に 七日の夜のみ 逢ふ人の 恋も過ぎねば 夜は更けゆくも　(柿本人麻呂)」
一年一度だけの逢瀬は、いくら愛し合っていたとしても時間が足らず明けて行ってしまうものだ、という意の歌より。
会えない時間が長いほど、会えた時の喜びはひとしお。織姫と牽牛の逢瀬を願って作った星空のお菓子です。

Today's Wagashi : Wish to stars ⭐️ Tanabata, also known as the star festival, celebrates the meeting of the deities Orihime and Hikoboshi (represented by the stars Vega and Altair respectively). According to legend, the Milky Way separates these lovers, and they are allowed to meet only once a year, July 7th.
Sometimes you have to wait for the one you love to bridge the geographical distance that separates. It is not always easy, but true love would be worth the wait. This confectionary representing a starry night is for the stars who believe the eternal love.
