佐渡裕さんのインスタグラム写真 - (佐渡裕Instagram)「日本中がWBC決勝で盛り上がっている頃、ウィーンで僕はかなり落ち込んでいました。その日午前中のリハーサル中に楽友協会の舞台から落ち、全くかばうことが出来ず、思いきり床に体を打ちつけてしまいました。翌日にトーンキュンストラー管と来シーズンのプロモーションコンサートを控えていました。ニールセンの交響曲や新作等なかなか大変な演目で、怪我の直後にじっくりアイシングを出来れば良かったのですが、午後にはゲネプロ、翌日本番というスケジュールで当然代役もいないので、ひどい肩の痛みに堪えながら右手だけで指揮をしてなんとかゲネプロを終えたのでした😭 舞台から落ちるってあまり想像がつかないかもしれませんが、現場にいたオーケストラ全員が凍りつくほどの衝撃的な落ちようでした😭 幸い骨折はなかったけれど、かなりのダメージを受けて左腕は全く動かない状態。その日の夜中1時からWBCの試合をアイシングしながら最後まで観戦。肩の激痛と、野球という素晴らしいスポーツへの感動、翌日の演奏会の不安など様々な感情が入り混じり、何が何やらわからないけれど、天才大谷翔平の姿を見ながら、号泣の一夜となりました。翌朝は大谷さんのおかげか、気持ちは僕も日本代表😎!出来る限り全力で演奏会を指揮し、無事に終えることが出来ました。事故の夜、ウィーンの親友でマッサージ師の杉ちゃんが2時間半も根気よく肩をケアしてくれたのも大きな幸運でした😭 ただこれでやっとゴルフが出来ると思っていた矢先だったので、当分クラブを触れないのはとても残念。ところで、皆さんは音楽に感動して涙を流したことがありますか？　あったとしたら、それはとても幸せなことだと思います。僕は野球でこれほど感動して、涙を流したのは人生で初めてでした。侍JAPANありがとう！ On the morning of @wbcbaseball championship, I was pretty depressed in Vienna. I accidentally fell off the stage and hit my left shoulder on the floor during the rehearsal with @tonkunstler_orchestra. It may have been a shocking scene because the orchestra froze seeing me😭 Luckily there were no broken bones, but moving my left arm in severe pain was impossible. I should have done some icing immediately after the injury, but my schedule for the rehearsal and the concert was too tight, and of course there was no substitute conductor, so I managed to finish the rehearsal with only my right arm 😭 That night, my good friend and masseur Sugi-chan took care of my shoulder for 2.5 hours 😭 and I watched the WBC game from 1:00 am, icing my left shoulder. I was in various emotions, including severe pain in my shoulder, excitement at the wonderful sport of baseball, and anxiety about the concert the next day. I watched the genius Shohei Otani all night, moving at the tears. The following day, thanks to Otani-san, I felt like I was also a member of the Japan national team😎 and I finished the concert as best I could without incident. By the way, have you ever been moved to tears by music? If you have, you must get a lot of pleasure from music. I have never been so moved to tears by baseball in my life.
