昨年ジュネーブの本社を訪問させていただいた、スイスの時計ブランド「ヴァシュロン・コンスタンタン」の企画で、プレジデント・スタイルにインタビューの取材を受けました。
今回嬉しかったのは、今年音楽監督に就任した新日本フィルの本拠地であり、「すみだ音楽大使」としても活動している僕の新しいホームであるすみだトリフォニーホールを使って、素晴らしい写真を撮ってもらったことです。
1階席の一番後ろ、普段あまり行くことのない通路までグッと下がって撮影することで、美しいパイプオルガンを背景にカッコいい仕上がりとなりました。この位置で僕を撮るために、カメラマンやスタッフはさらにその後ろの踊り場まで下がるという舞台裏でした。
時計とホールに似合う衣装とヘアメイクをしてもらい、終始楽しい撮影でした。ちなみに舞台上で何やら嬉しそうに座っているショットは、前の晩に料理した「トウモロコシご飯」のレシピをスタッフに説明しているところです（笑）

I was interviewed by web magazine “President Style” for a project of the watch brand @ヴァシュロン コンスタンタン, which I had an opportunity to visit their headquarters in Geneva last year.
What made me happy this time was that I was able to take some great pictures at @triphonyhall , the base hall of @newjapanphil of which I became music director this year, and my new home as "Sumida Music Ambassador."
I was able to get a cool shot with the beautiful pipe organ, going all the way down to the very back of the first floor seats, an aisle I don't usually go to. To take photo in this position, the photographer and crew had to go further back down onto on the landing behind it.
I was given a costume and hair and makeup that suited the watch and the hall, and I enjoyed shooting from start to finish. By the way, a photo I sit on the stage looking kind of happy is when explained the recipe for the "cooked rice with corn" I cooked the night before!
