The spooky coincidence is that last time we looked at Music Life magazine back on Day 16, we had gremlins delaying us then too. Anyway, as we said back then, Music Life was a superb long-running Japanese magazine that clearly had a fondness for all things Bowie. Following on from the cover we posted from October 1972, the magazine featured lots of Bowie content in the April, May and June 1973 issues, with the May issue boasting another Bowie cover. Mainly using Sukita shots, there were images from the Radio City show and rehearsals, NY press conference for the Japanese media, David’s arrival in Japan by boat and the press conference, plus the Tokyo shows. Obviously Sukita photographed Bowie many more times before and after the images we have used here, and these are just a sample of the numerous pages Music Life gave over to David Bowie.
