As women, we’ll often compliment others, but when others say something nice to us we just brush it off. Have you ever said to someone "I love your dress!" and they immediately put themselves down and say "Oh really - no, I hate it!" or "Oh, it was really cheap!" and you're like, "I didn't ask if you liked it or how expensive it was, I was just trying to give you a compliment". Ladies, let's start saying "THANK YOU" instead and accepting the positive things people say to us.⁣

I was amazed when I gave an 11- year old family friend a compliment last week, I said that she was beautiful and that she'd grown up so much. I was shocked for a second because she turned around and just said “thank you” with a huge smile!!! I feel like this is SO rare and I felt SUPER proud of her. ⁣

That’s what we should ALL do as women. So this week, if someone gives you a compliment, just try to say #THANKYOU.
