Lived my whole life in a Brazilian city with a max of 3 months of temperatures under 20º. 3 months of the year the temperature is between 20 and 30º. 6 months usually over 30º and reaching more than 40º during the whole actual summer, with real feel over 45º. Hot and humid, feels like being steamed alive, between the sea and mountains covered in rain forest. But nothing could prepare me for the Japanese summer. I was always cycling in Brazil, no matter the weather. Today in Gifu ken I almost fainted going back home.

My first ever abroad trip was to Japan, for the Scout Jamboree they hosted, in July-August. I'm from the northernmost part of Sweden. Had never been abroad before ever. Let's just say that I probably lost 6 kg just from sweating so much. Although, I must say that I prefer the humidity of Japan's summer than the dry air we get, even when the temperatures are ridiculous. But thank God for vending machines!🙌

@eatyourkimchi Notice me Senpai~ Hey Simon and Martina. Thanks for rolling this video out. Just in time as I’m rolling into Tokyo today. Been traveling through various prefectures, trying some of your recommendations. Maybe and hopefully I will bump into you!

Sweaty people first snicker and then are envious whenever I whip out a fan in hot summer months or hot meeting rooms. I always pack manual and battery operated fans for trips. However, I may need to buy a cuter one like that bear fan. ✌️❤️😘

Just came from the suffocatingly humid HELL that is Seoul to the sweltering DEATH that is Osaka today— but don’t get me wrong, both places are incredibly beautiful😂💛 and feel like heat stroke waiting to happen
