With each year I have been involved with @lungforce my team grows... as incredible as it is to see the force for change multiply it comes with a dose of reality. The realization of loss and those effected keeps increasing. As I have traveled from LA to DC to NYC, all over the nation, I have met more and more people who have lost loved ones to lung cancer. I have cried with those battling this disease fearing their days are numbered. But in the midst of this there is a common fire we all have to FIGHT... to fight against the NUMBER ONE CANCER KILLER. To educate others who didn’t know it had causes other than smoking. To advocate for research and treatment funding. As I hear others heartbreaking stories I am reminded of the opportunity cancer has given us to ignite this force for change.
