Even California wasn’t left out of the winter blast that has hammered most of the North American continent. The Sierra Nevadas have a nice new layer of snow making for some rarely seen “California wildlife in the snow” scenes. This coyote seemed to have an easy time catching meals as it grabbed 4 rodents in just under an hour out in this open meadow.
