Today’s #DailyBowieThing is a couple of original Ziggy Stardust RCA promotional posters from 1972. George Underwood’s Ziggy cartoons were an integral part of the early promotion of Ziggy Stardust and we’ll be posting more regarding those in a future feature.
 
These are high end collectables and these days are possibly beyond the reach of new collectors. But bargains are to be had if you keep your eyes open.
 
Just to confuse matters, there are two legitimate versions of the yellow UK poster, though it was also reprinted and has possibly been counterfeited too. So take extra care you are buying from a reliable source when shelling out large sums.
 
The poster on the right is a US promo which we know has been reproduced in recent years, so always double check a listing for that information before you buy.
