I want you to know that there are some really simple ways to make sure you are keeping your diet balanced and nutritious, even if you are not making your food yourself!⁣ ⁣ Here are my tips for keeping it healthy when you are ordering in or eating out - whether you're ordering Mexican, or any cuisine!⁣ ✅ Choose grilled meat or steamed fish. It’s a great way to avoid unhealthy trans fats which are often found in fried foods, plus it keeps the meal healthy and fresh.⁣ ✅ Order an extra serve of salad or vegetables. Most places will serve your meals with a small side salad or vegetables but we all know the more vegetables you can eat, the better. ⁣ ✅ Drink water. Instead of choosing alcohol or soft drinks, I always order water with ice, mint and lime. By adding some fresh flavours to my water I get a taste that I enjoy drinking but I’m staying hydrated and avoiding the added sugar and chemicals in soft drinks. You could also order soda water if you like the fizz. Drinking water also ensures you don't ruin your appetite, so you can enjoy your food properly, too! ⁣ ✅ Order dressing or sauces on the side. I don't like eating heavy, creamy dressings as they often make me feel sick, and I always like to stick to my olive oil, lemon, salt and pepper dressing. 😂 If you order your dressing and sauces on the side, then you can add exactly how much you want, and avoid the dish being ruined by overpowering flavours and heavy ingredients!⁣ ⁣ #BBGcommunity, as I always say, it's about BALANCE!
