本日令和元年10月22日は、天皇陛下の「即位礼正殿の儀」が行われる日。183か国から来賓が出席されるとは、東京の警備もさぞかし大変そう…そんな天皇家を象徴する菊花紋にちなみ作った菊の和菓子です。

Today's Wagashi : Feast of Chrysanthemum
Today is the day that Japan's new Emperor has officially proclaimed his enthronement, in a ritual-bound, centuries-old ceremony. I created Japanese confectionary which mimics Chrysanthemum as a symbol of the emperor family.
