What’s that critter? It’s the ghost glass frog (Sachatamia ilex), distinguished by the pattern of black lines around its eyes. Native to parts of Central and South America such as Panama and Colombia, this elusive frog is found in tropical forests where it blends in with the lush greenery. And it really blends in: this arboreal amphibian is able to alter the hue of its green skin in order to more closely match vegetation of varying shades.
