Here’s the last Museum profile for New York Fashion Week: Meet Kassandra Rodriguez, the high school programs coordinator for after school programs! She first fell in love with the Museum during her junior year of college, when she was a summer intern through the @nsfgov (NSF)’s Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program. Kassandra is standing in the Hall of Biodiversity by the Spectrum of Life exhibit. Why is this exhibit meaningful to her? “Because biodiversity not only represents my love for the natural world, but it also hints at my passion for diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility within education.” Kassandra is wearing a floral shirt with prints of flowers and bugs living in harmony, to represent how passionate she is to help students meet their potential and “bloom” in STEM.
