Welcome back to New York Fashion Week: Museum Edition! As Manager of the Discovery Room and Family Learning, Sarah works with young visitors, interns, parents, and volunteers ages 16 to 96. Sarah oversees daily operations of the Discovery Room, a space at the Museum where families can explore an array of specimens, puzzles, and scientific challenges. Another one of her projects: managing Discovery Day, a program that brings families who live in NYCHA housing across the five boroughs to the Museum for a day of science and fun. Sarah is pictured below in her “home away from home” in the shadow of the Discovery Room’s Baobab Tree. She has a passion for dinosaurs and all things paleo, so she opted to wear a glow-in-the-dark dinosaur print dress (with pockets!), along with a colorful dinosaur necklace. Photo: M.
