Meet the Striped Owl (Pseudoscops clamator). This elusive bird of prey is native to parts of Central and South America. It lives in grassland, savanna, or forest habitats, where it might be spotted perched in a tree to soak up the Sun in the early morning or flying close to the ground looking for a meal. What does it eat? Rodents and small birds make up the majority of its diet.
