Whoopi Goldberg, at 63, has lived through more careers than most of her veteran peers in show business. She is the only black woman with an #EGOT (an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar and a Tony). She’s never eaten an egg. It’s been a winding path from her one-women comedy act to “The View.” But @ウーピー・ゴールドバーグ disputes that she was ever on anything so clear as a path. “You can’t create a career,” she said. “It goes where it goes. lrosenberg51 I have loved and respected Ms. Goldberg since the first time I saw her perform back in the early 70’s. When asked what one person, living or dead I would most like to meet, have a cup of coffee or tea with, and spend an afternoon, my answer has never waivered; Whoopi Goldberg. It is one of six or seven items on my Bucket List. I’m 68 years old. There’s still time.

wjustca There is no need for everyone's kind words. None of you will ever think more highly of her than she does of herself. I've never seen someone so egotistical or self congratulatory as her. ( except Trump).

sheilakaur13 Totally agree. Careers change as one defines oneself. It's the Universe's way of understanding what we each want and delivering on just that, as we make seemingly small movements toward just that.
