Sanders was born with a love for nature and began his career with caring for stray dogs at a young age and rehabilitating native wildlife with WIRES. (NSW Wildlife Information, Rescue and Education Service Inc). Taronga Zoo’s very own Chimpanzee Talk was what inspired him to pursue his career as a Zoo Keeper- unlocking his true passion which was for ungulates (hooved animals) and his life calling, to protect the iconic Giraffe.
