タロンガ動物園さんのインスタグラム写真 - (タロンガ動物園Instagram)「If you caught this week’s episode of Who’s Who in the Zoo you would have seen the inspiring story of Skip the Fur Seal that unfolded on screen 📺🌊 Skip was rehabilitated by @seaworldaus and released back into the wild with a satellite tracker, thanks to the Seabirds to Seascapes project. Notably, Skip was the pioneering seal released and tracked through this initiative. Fast forward to today, and we’re thrilled to announce that a total of four seals have undergone rehabilitation and been successfully released. In the photo above, meet Narrang, a resilient female Long-nosed Fur Seal that spent months at the Taronga Wildlife Hospital after being found on Newport Beach lethargic and with evidence of Cookiecutter Shark bites. Narrang was released just outside Sydney Heads in September. She made a beeline for a known colony of Fur Seals near Barrenjoey. As we approach the summer months, keep your eyes peeled for Narrang!
