Answer below I’m really curious. 🤔 _ Earlier this year I was at a conference and I heard them say “What you do in the first 10 minutes of waking will determine your day” and I thought about it. I realized I was one of those people who would open my eyes pick up my phone, check emails and look at my DM’s. 90% of the time it would put me in a bad mood because I was starting my day serving other people by reading their problems and solving them. I was in a space of service but not in the right mindset to do it. I decided to change some things up, for starters I don’t pick up my phone within the first hour of waking. I get up, I listen to some personal development (preferably TD Jakes) I make my tea and I take care of myself before I serve everyone else. By making this little change I’ve seen how my day changed for the better. Morning rituals and habits are so important. If you set your alarm for an early wake-up time, you can start the day on your own terms - before everyone else makes their demands.  _ 🔑 Enjoy breakfast -Rather than dashing out of the house with coffee in hand or skipping breakfast altogether, spend a few minutes enjoying that first meal. Ask me about shakes if you normally skip breakfast.  _ 🔑 Make a plan -Steve Jobs started each day by looking in the mirror and asking, ”If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do with my day?” If he answered “no” too often, that was a sign that something needed to change _ 🔑 Get active -Morning is a not only a great time to exercise before you can procrastinate, but it can lift your mood and help you manage stress.
