Waking up to these guys made me smile all over again. ✨ Over the years I've pushed myself with bursts of loving energy to send more gifts, mail more cards, reach out to say "I'm thinking of you." But my efforts are inconsistent at best. When I packed up my life's worth of things, to move them south of the border, I came across letter after letter that I'd surely meant to send. But there they sat, deep in a dusty box, sandwiched between old ticket stubs and dog-eared photos: memories of conversations that were never had. Some of the letters contained apologies, some just chatty little hello-how-are-yous. But the consistent theme was good intentions, and the reminder that good intentions, good as they may be, alone just are not enough.
