6 WEEKS POSTPARTUM ✨ 5 MUST DO Lower body stretches!

Tag a postpartum mama who could benefit from these! 💕

1️⃣ Rockbacks - stretch your inner thighs (adductors) and a bit of hamstrings too!
2️⃣ World’s Greatest Stretch - there are several components to this move so ease into it at your own pace. You’ll get a great stretch in your adductors, hip flexors and quad (when doing that slight posterior pelvic tilt), thoracic spine, hamstrings, and even a bit of chest.
3️⃣ 90/90 - one of my favs!! Especially if you have hip flexor issues. Sit in this position and just lightly rock forward and backwards, even side to side. We’ll progress this movement as the weeks go on so this is just step 1.
4️⃣ Quad stretch - be sure you do a slight posterior pelvic tilt (but not exaggerated) to be sure the stretch is in your quad and not from lumbar lordosis (low back arch)
5️⃣ Calf stretch - you’ll see my leg is straight and I also bend it slightly. Each will stretch the calf differently.
