This print is one of a series which reproduce hand-illustrated catalogue cards from the Denver Art Museum, where Red Star was artist in residence for five months. She documented the museum's holdings of Native American cultural objects including moccasins, leggings, belts and elk-tooth dresses – objects that remain a vibrant part of Crow culture.
