For a limited time (until tomorrow, Sunday, 19 June, 2022), the clock tower is playing a special chime called "Seiko Harmony" composed by musician Ayattake Ezaki. In addition, at the newly opened Seiko House Ginza Hall on the 6th floor, the exhibition 'Seiko Harmony - 12 Sounds of Artisan Craftsmanship' is being held. This year marks the 90th anniversary of that clock tower. This is also the 75th anniversary of the department stores' Wako which has started as the sales division of the “Hattori Clock Shop( = SEIKO )”. In celebration, the department store has produced more than a dozen of collectible items including special edition Grand Seiko Watch as well as WAKO watch that stresses on ‘7’ and ‘5’ on the watch face. And a large shawl from Italy's Faliero Sarti featuring a 70-year show window motif.
