Today we’re looking at the 2005 release of Labyrinth on Sony’s Universal Media Disc (UMD) format, a discontinued optical disc designed for use on the Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP). We no longer have our PSP to hand, but the modern equivalent is probably to watch a film on your phone. Anybody out there still use their PSP? How does it compare with the resolution of today’s handheld gadgets? Does Jareth the Goblin King still stand out? Despite being a widescreen presentation, the screen of the PSP wasn’t particularly wide at 4.3 inches.
