The Gohouden and Hakucho Ponds along the Sai River are both known for the migratory flocks of swans that appear during winter. 

The sight of swans dancing in the water at the base of the snow-capped Japanese Alps is truly stunning.

It has been 37 years since the first flock visited Azumino. Now, people from all around come to watch these elegant birds every winter.
