Senjojiki Cirque
(Komagane City, Miyada Village)

Senjojiki Cirque is a large, amphitheatre-shaped geological feature carved out of the mountainside below Mt. Hoken in the Central Japanese Alps.

During summer, it is a treasure trove of alpine flora and during winter, it is covered in pure white snow and frost.

The country’s highest altitude hotel, Hotel Senjojiki, can be found here. From the hotel, you can see panoramic views of the alps.

*The Komagatake Ropeway will be closed for several days from Dec. 1st to 4th for maintenance.
