Established in 1992 in Malibu, Los Angeles, Ray Gun was a monthly American music and style magazine that featured the brilliant art direction and design of David Carson. Ray Gun celebrated its third anniversary (October 1995) with this Bowie cover and a 10-page picture-led interview/feature inside. Two pages were given over to an interview with DB by Moon Zappa regarding the characters which populated 1. Outside, while another two pages were reserved for Brian Eno’s studio observations and working methods for the album. Along with Kate Garner’s superb photographs for the cover shoot, there were four images (two of them being full page), illustrating some of the 1. Though we should say that most issues of Ray Gun nowadays aren't cheap, and this issue is no exception.
