TIME UNDER TENSION 🔥with many of us working out at home and wanting to gain or at least maintain our strength, TUT is a great way to do that.

Time under tension by definition is the length of time a muscle is under tension during an exercise. For example, in the first move, I’m taking 3 seconds to Squat (the eccentric phase) and 1 second to stand (the concentric phase). This is just one example of TUT. Give it a try and let me know what you think 😉

🔥 Sumo Stiff-Leg Deadlifts: 3:1 TUT. 12 reps.
🔥 Dumbbell Deadlifts: 3:1 TUT. 10 reps
🔥 Sumo Squats: 3:1 TUT. 15 reps
🔥 Stationary Lunges: 3:1 TUT. 8 reps each side
🔥 Fire Hydrants: 2:1 TUT. 8 reps each side.
🔥 Donkey Kicks: 2:1 TUT. 8 reps each side

Pay attention to my breathing, too. You should be forcefully exhaling on the concentric phase of each move and rep, fully engaging your core in the process.
