So here are some things you may or may not know... ☺️ . 1️⃣ If you would have told me 10 years ago I would be a personal trainer and I’d build my own fitness app, I would’ve laughed. I hated the entire concept of working out. I thought working out = vanity... 2️⃣ I did 1 round of IVF after 2 years of TTC (trying to conceive) to get my precious baby girl. It was a traumatizing 2 years that still has lasting effects, but we know it’s what our journey was meant to be and now I wouldn’t have it any other way. 3️⃣ I grew up with very little parental supervision as a teen which yes, led to me getting in a bit of trouble (nothing serious) but it also taught me how to be strong and independent. Young kids getting in trouble just need LOVE and attention. 4️⃣ As much as I didn’t have much parental supervision, I had amazing parents. Each my mom, dad, and step-dad played huge roles in my life, as did my 6 other siblings. I always say we’re the most functional dysfunctional family I know 😂❤️ 5️⃣ I met my husband through mutual friends while I was studying abroad in Rome. Little did I know he had already Facebook stalked me prior to us meeting!! He also pretended to speak more English than he did so I would go to dinner with him and his friends. 6️⃣ I have an MBA (Masters in Business) but I got rejected to almost all the colleges I applied to for my Bachelor’s degree. The one I *did* get into was a private school, so hello student loans 😳💸 7️⃣ I get immense joy from helping people. I love customer service. It’s weird, I know 😂 8️⃣ I’ve lived in 3 countries on 3 different continents (China for 1 year, Italy for 3 years, and the US obvs) even though I grew up in a small town and never thought I’d travel outside the US besides Mexico. 9️⃣ I loved growing up in a small town! I think that community feeling is what so many lack today. Feeling this right now especially with having a baby. 🔟 I don’t like calling people my followers. It feels a bit pretentious.
