Photo by Karla Gachet @kchete77 Doroteo Jiménez holds a photo of his niece, María Isabel, who died of a heat stroke in 2008, while working in a field near Lodi, CA. She was 17 and pregnant. After her death, farm workers organized and marched to Sacramento to demand better conditions for people working in the fields under intense #HEAT. Doroteo still works in the fields and in the video he is driving a small tractor through grape vines looking for a leaky hose.
