Within music one of the things we struggle most with is access to information. I've been compiling as much clear information as possible to explain some of the realities of releasing, touring, signing deals & working with your professional team. I'm going to refine it for a while so it's not completely overwhelming, and at this point would like to find some willing participants to workshop this with. Leave a comment here and indicate what level of technical detail you're looking to explore. "Optimistic" would be people at the beginning of their career, on the verge of signing a deal or publishing "Confused" would be anyone who's already in the system but is looking to understand better the new world of release options "Commiseration" is a final group for folks who have been doing this too long and need advice about tools for consolidating their work, catalogue & income streams. It's ok to think about a way out!! That's "optimistic" "confused" or "commiseration" 🗳️ This is just a beta test before doing this more widely. Will probably be on Zoom for now Just a caveat, this is not advice about how to reach an audience or build one, something I think we're all uncertain about.
