I’m so glad to introduce you to my friend Dr. Phillip Atiba Goff, as we #passthemic to the team at Center for @policingequity, and continue advocating that #blacklivesmatter. I've decided to let them take over my instagram to amplify their voices.

I’ve been learning from them the last few weeks, and wanted to share some important facts I didn’t know, in the hope that the conversation around equality and justice continues (arrest the cops who killed #BreonnaTaylor).

The Center for #policingequity does incredible, data-driven, community-focused work, and I hope you’ll follow us so we can keep growing, unlearning and understanding together. I am going to continue to 'Pass The Mic’ to the activists, educators and organisers who have been doing this work for decades, because these leaders are the ones we need to follow right now.

As many others have said, this cannot be a trend, what has happened in the last three weeks must add up to change. We need to stay with the conversation xx
