蒸し暑い季節がやってきました。ムシムシ・ジメジメに不快になりつつ、日々の仕事や生活を頑張っている自分にちょっとしたご褒美はいかがでしょうか。
この時期に食べたいのが鰻。代官山駅から徒歩6分、老舗の鰻屋「登川」に行ってきました。
ご主人はじめお店のスタッフの皆さまは物腰柔らかで、とても温かい雰囲気で迎えてくれます。オーナーご夫婦の人柄に惹かれて通う常連さんも多いそうです。ご主人の表情からもお客様への愛情が伝わってきます。
鰻は関東風で、登川ではしっかり蒸したあと、タレにつけて炙るを3回繰り返します。時間をかけて丁寧に作られた鰻は箸がすっと通り、口の中に入れるとふわふわ。
極上の鰻とお店の人柄に、とても癒されるお店。夏の疲れも吹き飛んじゃいました。
テイクアウトもできますよ。

One perfect summer dish is unagi. If you walk 6 minutes from Daikanyama Station you’ll find veteran unagi shop, Noborikawa.
Everyone from the owner to the entire staff are so warm and welcoming, giving this spot a homey feel every time you visit. The owner and his wife are known for their magnetic personalities, which draw in many regular visitors. You can really see the love and care from just their faces.
The unagi eel dishes are made in Kanto fashion, first steamed to perfection before adding the sauce and roasted 3 times over. Made carefully with tender love and care, each fluffy bite will keep your chopsticks reaching for more.
