東急線沿線にある外観が綺麗な建築のご紹介。
今回は駒沢大学駅から10分ほどの駒沢オリンピック公園。園内には複数の運動施設があり、1964年に開催された東京オリンピックではバレーボールなどの競技がここで行われました。
中央広場付近にはインパクトある建築物が点在しており、中でも五重塔に似たオリンピック記念塔は斬新なデザインです。
外出が難しい時期が続いておりますが、現状が落ち着きましたら、綺麗な建築を探してみてはいかがですか。

There’s beautiful architecture to find along the Tokyu Lines.
Today’s highlight is Komazawa Olympic Park, just a 10 min.’s walk from Komazawa-Daigaku Station. There’s a variety of sports facilities here, including the arena for the volleyball events held during the 1964 Tokyo Olympics.
Dotted around the central square you can find some eye-catching designs, including an Olympic memorial tower that looks like a 5-tiered Pagoda with a modern twist.
Going out is still difficult at the moment, but once things begin to settle you might want to try going for a hunt for beautiful architecture.
