東急線沿線で紫陽花が綺麗に撮れるスポット。池上線池上駅より徒歩8分にある、池上のあじさい寺との呼び声が高い「照栄院・妙見堂」。
照栄院の横にある長くて急な階段を登った先に妙見堂があります。階段の両脇や建物周辺にも数多くの紫陽花が咲き、毎年訪れた方々の目を楽しませます。訪問した日は雨天でしたが、濡れた青い紫陽花があでやかに映えてました。紫陽花の種類も豊富で、色は主に青系が多い印象。訪問した日は雨でしたが、紫陽花は雨の中の方が映えますね。

Where to find the best, instaworthy hydrangeas along the Tokyu lines.
If you walk 8 min.’s from the Ikegami Line Ikegami Station, you’ll find Shoei-in Myokendo, a spot so well known for hydrangeas that it’s nicknamed “The Ikegami Ajisai Temple”.
To the side of Shoei-in is a steep climb of stairs that will bring you to Myokendo. Flanking the steps, and across the buildings there are countless hydrangeas blooms that are a treat for the eyes every year. While we visited on a rainy day, the wet blooms of the blue hydrangeas looked absolutely picture perfect. There are so many different types of blooms, many of which are the blue-ish strain. Even in the rain, hydrangeas are always ready to brighten up your feed.
