The route opened with technical crimps from slab to vertical, then switched into two colonnettes formed next to each other. The climbing required kneebars, slapping and compression, and power endurance. The route was nestled away in a sector high up in the mountains called Nifada. Nifada was considered to be a spring season area because of the cold temperatures, but I decided to climb there anyway. This meant climbing in the snow on somedays while knowing that the climbers in other sectors were climbing in tank tops. I was figuring out the beta, trying to build endurance, and finding ways to not freeze out on route. I would build a small fire away from the wall to heat up some rocks, and put them in my chalk bag to help keep my hands warm when I climbed to prevent me from losing feeling in my fingertips, a technique recommended by a local. On the last day of the decade on December 31st, after about a week of effort including several days of learning how to climb one bolt at a time, I sent my trip project." - Marmot Club Ambassador @lenapalms Photo: @clayclaydon」7月1日 3時33分 - marmot
