The tufas in many of the sectors in Leonidio felt like an entirely different animal compared to what I had just practiced in Sicily. Some of the sectors had Sicily type stalactites too, but sectors like Elona had wavy tufas and colonnettes that grew out of the wall, almost like something you would see in the bottom of the ocean. The climbing required back to back kneebars and off-width like skills that I didn't have.
