Here's what we're doing: • We will accelerate our training programs to eliminate unconscious biases, educate on systemic racism, and advocate for justice and equality among our staff and the greater outdoor industry. • We are building working groups of Marmot staff across all departments and roles to identify barriers and create actionable solutions. We are working with diversity, equity and inclusion consultants with an immediate priority of addressing diversity within our brand. • We are making cash donations to organizations including the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, working to dismantle systemic racism and fighting for racial injustice. • We will engage more deeply with outdoor-oriented affinity groups and organizations to help create equitable access to outdoor experiences and careers for Black, Indigenous and People of Color and other underrepresented communities.  This means more than donating product and cash. It’s physically showing up and creating long-term partnerships with a focus on needs-based solutions.  We know this is just a beginning, but we’re committed to devoting the time, energy and resources towards action and change.
