そこに映る姿を思わず自撮りしたくなる、レーザーカッティングで描いた鏡の絵画《楽園／境界／肖像画》。3F、4F、5Fの北エレベーターホールに設置されたこれら3点のアートを手がけた現代美術作家の船井美佐さんは、空間全体をカンバスとしてとらえ、「楽園と境界」をテーマに作品を作り続けています。

この作品の主役は、鏡に映る現実の世界と架空の楽園の世界の曖昧な境界に立つ、あなた自身です。

In the elevator halls on the north side of GINZA SIX you’ll find wall-mounted mirror art by contemporary artist Misa Funai. Conceived as a single art piece spread across three floors (3F/4F/5F), “Paradise / Boundary / Portrait” is comprised of laser-cut mirrors arranged to transform the entire space into a landscape. “A flock of birds fly out of this portal to the world of the imagination, flapping their wings and climbing up into the floors above.” (Read the full interview, in Japanese only, here: https://ginza6.tokyo/news/8476 ) Visitors will find themselves along the boundary between reality and an imaginary paradise.
